Fold the top of each ear down 2 inches.

Topstitch or glue each ear along the straight edge, catching the folded edges in the seam.
Make the Toes
Cut 6 large toes and 6 small toes from the white felt.
Make the Trunk
Cut a cardboard paper towel tube to 9 inches long.
Pinch together one end and glue it closed.
Cut a 6x13-inch piece of light gray felt.
Let the glue dry, then trim the excess felt around the tube end.
