Muffin tins make the perfect garlic roasters.
Use roasted garlic as a spread or to give a recipe an extra boost of flavor.
Ingredients
1garlic bulb
1Tbsp.olive oil
Salt and black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F.
Cut off top 1/2 inch of garlic bulb to expose ends of individual cloves.
Leaving bulb whole, remove any loose, papery outer layers.
Drizzle bulb with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover bulb with foil or bring foil up around bulb and fold edges together to loosely enclose.
Roast 35 to 40 minutes or until garlic feels soft when squeezed; cool.
Remove garlic cloves from paper husks by squeezing bottom of bulb.
Tips
To serve roasted garlic, simply spread on toasted crusty bread slices or crackers.
