But while this advice has been around for decades, in todays housing market, does it still apply?

Those are good questions.
Does this meet my needs?
Because thats the purpose of a house, right?
Its to live and raise kids or downsize or whatever that may be.
So I think it is OK.
It is about a homebuyers needs.
We dont know anything about the schools.
This is just a transaction for us.
But we really have to assess whats going on with a client first.
