I’ve had the combination of lemon and chicken before in so many recipes.
I love ourlemon butter chicken, lemon pepper chicken wings, and this easysheet pan chicken.
But one thing that sets this tender recipe apart is the addition of honey.
It helps balance the acidity of the lemon and brings out the caramelized flavors of the meat.
I especially loved the texture the cooked lemon slices added to the dish.
I would highly recommend serving this with rice or pasta to soak up all of the pan sauce.
It’s the perfect balance of flavors, and the chicken tenders come out perfectly caramelized and juicy.
Also, I much prefer the texture of thinly sliced tenders to an entire breast.
But for me, it was a total winner.
