A washing machine provides a convenient solution to remove dirt and odors from shoes for a routine refresh.

Place the laces and insoles in one mesh laundry bag and the shoes in another.

Do not use fabric softener, as it can leave a residue on the shoes.

Avoid using hot water, as it can cause colors to fade or bleed.

Allow Shoes to Air Dry

After washing, allow the shoes toair dry.

Never put them in a tumble dryer, as the heat can damage the shoes.

Stuff them with paper towels or fabric if needed to help maintain their shape.

Keep shoes out of direct sunlight when air drying.

“It boils down to washing as needed.

Its also important not to let shoes get too dirty as that makes them harder to clean.”

Wash them when they visibly look dirty or are beginning to smell stinky.

If small stains occur, you’ve got the option to alwaysspot-clean themin between deep cleans.
