Removable vs. Non-removable Hinge Pins
There are two common types of hinge pins: removable and non-removable.

If the door has removable hinge pins, you could skip this step.
This helps keep the door as stable as possible while you work.
Use a hammer to gently tap the nail punch, gradually increasing the force to loosen the pin.
Have a second person help carry the door to the desired location for repair or routine maintenance.
