Dress up the metal cage with tightly-wrapped rope for added color and texture.

Discard any unwanted wire.
Use small, even strokes to cover the entire cage.
We used black paint to allow the jute rope to pop against the dark color.
Let the paint dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
