Ive seen so many different viewpoints on how to keep hydrangeas from wilting.
Sharpe started off by filling a vase with steaming hot water.

Its true that smashing the stem of a hydrangea livens up a wilting flower.
But it can also crush the xylem, which is the plants tissue that transports water up the stem.
