Decorating Easter Eggs Safely
Decorating real eggs for Easteris a classic (and often kid-friendly!)
activity, but its not without its risks, particularly if you hope to eat the eggs post-decoration.
If your decorated eggs went unrefrigerated for two hours or more, theyre no longer safe to eat.
Then, drain the egg whites and yolk out of the egg and clean it up.
Finally, if youre ever confused, the FSIS has a simple recommendation: Separate your eggs.
