Hawaii isinsanelybeautiful, and even that feels like an understatement.
From jagged mountain peaks to towering waterfalls and colorful reefs, the landscape is a sight for sore eyes.

I absolutely love the diversity of Hawaii, Im exposed from cultures all over the world.

Simply put, life in Hawaii feels simple.
By and large, people that live in Hawaii arent as materialistic.
It barely matters because Im usually only buying swimsuits anyways.
Cons of Moving to Hawaii

We currently pay $2,700 for an outdated 1-bedroom apartment a few blocks from downtown Honolulu.
Whats more, the competition for houses and apartments is incredibly fierce.

High Cost of Living
Hawaii isnt even in the same zip-code as affordable and hasnt been for alongtime.
Its not uncommon for folks to work two jobs to make ends meet while living in Hawaii.

Honestly speaking, Native Hawaiians dont like transplants.
One thing that has helped tremendously is volunteering, its how we met most of our friends in Hawaii.

Lack of Seasons
Every pro has a con, right?
Well the pleasant year-round weather ensures that you wont experience winters while living in Hawaii.

Island Fever Is Real
Living in Hawaii can feel very routine after a time.
Plus, most places close by 10pm, so nightlife is non-existent.

Hawaii runs on a tourist economy, so most of the jobs are in the tourism/service industry.
Think restaurants, hotels, stores, etc.
If you are coming with a college degree, you will find it hard to secure a gig.
In fact, Hawaii is one of thehardest states to find a job in.
The short answer is yes.
Hawaiis stunning scenery and laid-back lifestyle allure many.
However, its not for everyone.
Paradise seekers, nature enthusiasts, and surfers might find joy.
The state offers a high quality of life, diverse culture, and strong sense of community.
However, its important to consider the high cost of living, particularly for housing and healthcare.
